Approximate Route

1 day

Arrival in Saint-Petersburg. Meeting with the representative of TST in Pulkovo Airport. Transfer to Hotel.  Hotel Accommodation.

2 day

Breakfast.
08:00 – leaving for Berezovo village, Leningrad Region (a border with Karelia), Ladoga Tourist Camp.
Snack in the camp. Receiving of outfit and instructions of rules of conduct on the route. The first pass on the yawl to the cape Kurkiniemi (20 — 25 km) or another place in this direction. Dinner, evening party for getting acquainted and telling marine stories.

3 day

Breakfast. Pass from the cape of Kurkiniemi to the cape of Rakhaniemi (8 — 10 km). Dinner.
4 day Breakfast. Fishing, walking, short sailing walks. Lunch, Dinner.

5 day

Breakfast. Early pass Rakhaniemi - Ladoga Tourist Camp, Berezovo Village (20-25 km). Returning of the received outfit, snack, leaving for Saint-Petersburg. Hotel accommodation.

6 day

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport. Departure.

General Information:

  • The saling tour to Ladoga skerries starts and finishes on the pier of tourist base Ladoga in Berezovo Village, Leningrad Region.
  • The route does not demand any special physical training or experience of taking part in water trips.
  • There are seven boats in our fleet. The number of tourists on Valaam centerboarder is 10 people, on Ladoga centerboarder  it is up to 18 people, on the yawl – up to 10 people, in the motor boat – up to 18 people. There can go from one to seven vessels for a tour.
  • The crew of two people, a captain and a captain's mate, helps the tourists.
  • The route passes mainly through inhabited and under-populated territories.
  • The groups are gathered from all Russia and foreign countries.
  • The tourist should be ready for new people and adventures during the tour, should not be afraid of camp difficulties and bad weather.
  • The traffic schedule is approximate.
  • The water pass takes 3-6 hours depending on the weather, direction of wind and physical preparation of the group members.
  • There can occur that the lunch is served as a snack on the boat.
  • The hot meal can be prepared only on the shore after berthing.
  • The meal is cooked on fire with active participation of the tourists and by the supervision of the captain's mate.
  • It is advisable to make vaccination from encephalitis.
  • Children of 6 years old and older can be accepted for the tour only with their parents or adult relatives.
  • Teenagers from 14 years old can take part in the tour without parents.
  • The maximum age of tourists is not limited.
  • The accommodation is in tents for two persons.

What to take from home:

  • 2-3 sets of comfortable sports clothes (including warm and water-resistant clothes)
  • Cap 2-3 pares of sportive shoes,
  • 3-4 pares of socks articles of personal hygiene
  • Towel (as a rule, a camp bath-house is arranged)
  • Traveling set of utensils (a dish, mug, spoon, and a knife)
  • Individual first aid kit
  • Photo camera, film camera, and tacking (for fishermen).
